Grant Applications

The North County Higher Education Alliance (NCHEA) funds projects involving the collaboration of colleagues from Cal State San Marcos, Palomar College, and MiraCosta College.  Among NCHEA's key goals are fostering collaboration among college and university educators and improving communication among staff and students at the three institutions, therefore, only projects where all three institutions are represented and benefit will be considered for funding. 

The NCHEA grant process is open to faculty, librarians, counselors, and administrators who have a proposal that requires collaboration and participation from colleagues at each of the NCHEA member institutions. Associate faculty, program directors, staff, and student organizations may be included as participants in the project.

Applications and questions concerning NCHEA and the grant program should be directed to either Director Steven Deineh or NCHEA Coordinator Lori Schneider.

Applications for mini grants for amounts up to $500 are considered only during the academic year, and they will be voted on at the next NCHEA Board meeting after the grant application is received.  Please see the NCHEA website for the Board's meeting schedule.  If you have any questions, please e-mail Steven Deineh.
