Each graduate program is represented by a current (enrolled) graduate or professional student.

The Graduate Representatives Council (GRC) brings a unified voice to graduate students and provides support for graduate student issues and concerns in collaboration with the Office of Graduate Studies and Research (OGSR). In addition, the Dean of OGSR, Dr. Wesley Schultz, may seek advice from the GRC regarding graduate student issues that would benefit from the council’s feedback to provide student-driven solutions.

We are seeking individuals who are looking to be more involved in CSUSM graduate student affairs and make an impact within the campus community.

Any current and enrolled graduate or professional (EdD) student who is willing and able to commit to:

  • Enhancing graduate student experience
  • One hour a month for meetings
  • Representing your program in campus-wide discussions

We know many of you are working professionals, therefore, if you would like to join but cannot fully commit to attending meetings, we offer teleconferencing and Zoom options.

 The benefits are:

  • Direct influence on your experience as a graduate student at CSUSM
  • Networking: Connect with professionals in your field
  • Professional development: Build your resume, leadership experience
