Alex Fresh
Hello, my name is Alex Fresh. I am a program coordinator for Extended Learning and manage a variety of programs including sociology, nursing, and education. I graduated from SDSU in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in Sociology and started working immediately at UCSD as faculty support, program coordinator and academic personnel. After three years at UCSD, I moved to North County, had a baby, and took a year off to figure out what it meant to be a new mom. I have been working at CSUSM Extended Learning for over five years and I have enjoyed every moment of it.
Outside of work, I have a daughter in kindergarten and a 2 year old son who keep me extremely busy and are very vocal and strong willed children. They will definitely be leaders one day. I function off of little sleep, a pot of coffee a day, and sometimes hide from my kids so I can eat an ice cream cone in peace. Recently, I started running and have completed 3 half marathons. I grew up in 29 Palms (before Joshua Tree got cool) and miss the desert sky every day.
