I think COVID effected tourism the most of all industries because people can't go abroad and do sightseeing. Also, hotels were not being used so many people who worked at the hotel lost their job due to closing hotels or getting cut off. Although these were the problem, the Japanese government took action to save the economy of tourism industry and they started doing campaigns. I think the situation's stiffness is lessening and going to a better direction.
