Mission Beach is in fact a community built of a sandbar between the Pacific Ocean and Mission bay. It is a famous location in San Diego and many people visit there everyday to enjoy the nice view and environment. There is a historic amusement park called Belmont Park near the beach which was built in 1925 by a person named John D. Spreckels. The park also made the beach famous. You can enjoy various things such as surfing, swimming frisbee tossing and even skateboarding.
