Japan has 34 national parks. Among them, I have been to Unzen Amakusa national park and Asokujyu national park. Both of them, we can see the volcanic activity. I think the most popular it's Fuji Hakone Izu national park because it includes Mt. Fuji which is like a Japanese symbol. I've never been there, so in the near future I really wanna go.
