those statistics for obesity are scary, especially that it continues to grow and just gets worse from here. I also agree with the underserved population needing a cost effective type of management and treatments, because they will not be able to afford expensive medications and referrals and therapies. also, assessing their diet, social status, occupation, activities, food resources, and mental health will definitely help with managing their weight problems. as i was looking up how naturopathic medicine will help with weight problems, i came across this article: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3396071/
