Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this module, the learner will be able to:
1. Discuss Ayurvedic philosophy.
2. Describe at least three Ayurvedic therapeutic modalities.
3. Discuss the philosophy of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
4. Define Manual Medicine.
5. List at least three therapeutic modalities used in TCM.
6. Identify at least one evidence-based therapeutic modality from Ayurveda, TCM, or manual medicine that might inform the care and treatment of a patient.
Activities:
The learner will:
1. Read all module assigned readings.
2. View all module power points and videos.
3. Actively participate in class discussion.
4. Perform a literature search: Review the current literature on the clinical problem and the evidence-based Ayurvedic, manual medicine, and TCM care and treatments that might inform your case study report.
